ziggy plushie

Whoever says making a plushie is easy is obviously a very talented person!  Stage one of me making Ziggy - ears too big, arms not right, legs too thin.  I went to John Lewis to have a look at patterns and I couldn't believe the price they are these days!
Stage two - this time with lovely single jersey and felt - do you think Ziggy looks a bit freaky too??

snail & tortoise art badge

One of a collection of five badges I've designed from my original artwork!  All 1 inch badges and can be found on my other Etsy Shop

baby zebra gouache painting

I've created a gouache painting (illustration) with a real wool detail for the mane and have finally got it framed with a lovely 'v' groove detail. Zebra has been written in French. Haven't uploaded the final photograph yet as I'm waiting on a lovely sunny day to take it outside in Scotland!! What chance have I got in October LOL! Ziggy's Shop

Blethering Crafts

Please take time to pop over to 'Blethering Crafts' established by Tash Goswami in September with the aim of creating an online resource of real life experiences and thoughts of contemporary craft makers. Well worth a visit!

dotty

I just found some work I did for 'Boots' a few years ago - ah! bringing back happy memories! I used layout paper and Pantone pens for these sketches.

scottie dog

The 'Scottie Dog' is born and is available soon from Etsy in the form of a blank greeting's card!

snails and tortoises

I'm not always going to base my work on animals although I was checking out my other work and came across one of my favourties - an original watercolour/ink design I illustrated many many years ago (vintage!) it just made me smile again so I thought I would share it with you!  It's also up for sale in my other shop - sunshinescot
